Marketing Pitch?
editI have added a note of caution regarding the claimed health benefits of isomalto-oligosaccharides. The section as it was struck me more as a marketing pitch than as neutral reporting of scientific fact. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mkatan (talk • contribs) 09:52, 24 August 2015 (UTC)
Call for Changes to Health Benefits Section
editThe health benefits section needs much revision. Claims about decreased flatulence at the beginning need to be tempered by the subsequently listed role of dosage (i.e. this molecule is cited as causing increased flatulence at higher amounts). Further, it's cary prevention is only in the context of a sugar substitute and there does not appear to be evidence in the cited articles for its ability to prevent them other than by reducing the intake of conventional sugar by study participants. Thus the statement that it prevents caries is incorrect and must be modified to include this clarification. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.107.25.143 (talk) 17:59, 9 July 2017 (UTC)
"it is not and IMO" in next to last sentence of paragraph #2 underthe heading labeled Chemistry should read: it is not an IMO 2601:86:C580:EB0:7C01:7ABE:DE1D:68A (talk) 10:32, 3 October 2021 (UTC)
