I have been watchin this edit war go on for a long time. please stop it right now. any changes to the article on the following subjects will require a full citation of fact :

• name of the chancellor

is it  : Albert Qarri or Eustrat Zhupa or Tanush Shaska

• name of the university.

is it  : University of Vlora' (UV) or 'University "Ismail Qemali" Vlorë or "Universiteti Teknologjik Ismail Qemali i Vlores" (Technological University Ismail Qemali of Vlora)

I am considering removing the name of the chancellor if we can find no agreement or reference.

I'm coming to this debate from the 3O page. Please note that this is just my opinion on a topic that I have no previous involvement with, and that this view is in no way binding. Seems to me that the webpage of the university should be a reliable source for the disputed info? I've found this page, which says that the current rector is Tanush Shaska, although apparently he's resigning effective November, 2011. I believe that a rector is the chief executive of a university, equivalent to chancellor? The school flag appearing on that web page is the one that's currently in the wiki article. Finally, the web page itself translates the university name as "University of Vlorë." What sources support the other possibilities? Thanks,—CordeliaNaismith (talk) 04:03, 28 December 2010 (UTC)

Ok, This page http://www.univlora.edu.al/?p=admin says the head is Tanush Shaska and that A. Qarri is under him.

this page https://sites.google.com/a/univlora.edu.al/rector/our-company/our-staff aslo lists Tanush Shaska as the rektor. Eustrat Zhupa is not listed as rektor, but as provost there. Tanush Shaska has published his resination letter here, as you said effective November, 2011. https://sites.google.com/a/univlora.edu.al/rector/.

in that letter he names Eustrat Zhupa as being his backup :

Qarri proved victorious in the elections that took place today in this university and ended around 16:00.

Official sources of the Central Election Commission of the university announced that it has received more than 42% of votes required, which allows that he be declared the winner, against three other competitors in this election.

Prof.as.dr. Albert Qarri is one of the most experienced teachers at the University "Ismail Kamal" of Vlora at the Faculty of Economy. He succeeds in this function Tanush Shaska former rector, who resigned just over a month ago.

So I assume that this will be until the Nov 2011, Will be the new Rector of the University "Ismail Kamal" of Vlora on the future mandate of about one year. So we can leave that as it is, Rektor Albert Qarri. The name in the news is listed as University "Ismail Kamal" of Vlora.

fictitious adjuncts

I explain that. It means people who are on the website only, but not on the payroll. Or on the website and on the payroll (that fictitious too) but are not physically present in the university, and contribute nothing. I myself was a fictitious professor there. They asked me to go, I left after 2 months for unpaid salaries, and they kept my position running, pocketing my salary.

Look, if you are going to add in accusations about someone, you better bring in references and newspaper articles. Wikipedia is not a place to post dirt on people. If you cannot prove it, then dont put it there, why dont you help clean up the page, bring in facts, picture, details and references. There is so much in vlore to write about and I dont want to support just posting criticism on wp.
