' There is no such thing as an Arab Empire and it is wrong to say so. The actual Superpower that was started by the Arabs is the Islamic Empire which at times was ruled by Persians.

yes their was, its a fact that the arabs ruled one large Empire from china to spain, and whth the decline of the abbasids, the persians did their own islamic state, that was ruled by several dynasties... along the Islamic "empire" the muslim world was usually divided into an arab part and a persan part...

There is a mistake that people make and that is that they confuse the Arab Empire with the Muslim Empire, not once in Islam's history did itcontroll ALL muslim populated areas by one country, while the Arab Empire is just one Empire that has been divided into several Dynasties such as the Rashidun, Abbasids, Ummayids, Ayubids, Tulunids, Fatimids etc... just like china's different Dynastic eras.

meenwhile there were other Empires in the greater Muslim world such as the Persian Dynasties of Samanids, Seljuq dynasty, Khwarezmid Empire, Timurid dynasty, Safavid Dynasty, Qajar dynasty, and many others, i think we should start a good representable Article to include all the previous Arab Dynasties adjacent to the Persian Empire's article... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Arab League (talk • contribs) 21:55, August 21, 2007 (UTC).

i agree with you, but it needs to be called [Arab]] rather then Arabian, since arabia is ==

the geographical terminology of the arabian peninsula, while Arab means all arabs ethnically, which includes the ummayid, rashidun, abbasids, fatimids etc...
