Copyvios report and Duplication Detection report clearly show no match, and no violation has occurred

The alleged violation of copyright in this article does not seem to be conclusive.

Both the Copyvios report and the Duplication Detection report have both come back negative. This means that this page should be released by an administrator.

Also, the information where the violations are alleged to have occurred;

https://web.archive.org/web/20031209120522/http://www.isdb.org/english_docs/idb_home/backgrnd.htm

and

http://www.isdb.org/irj/go/km/docs/documents/IDBDevelopments/Attachments/Projects/IDB_gao_bridge_web.pdf

- Both of these sources are very much in the public domain, and it has been published by the copyright owner, the Islamic Development Bank in this case, for the purposes of mass consumption by the public. And as such, these two sources have been properly referenced in their usage throughout the article.

I am nevertheless requesting permissions from the copyright holder. Forminformation (talk) 13:19, 16 August 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Forminformation (talkcontribs) 13:08, 16 August 2016 (UTC)

The problem in question seems to have been resolved, as per the ticket on the top of the page. Closing edit request. Regards, VB00 (talk) 10:49, 2 January 2017 (UTC)

Semi protected edit request for the first paragraph of the criticism section

In the first paragraph of the Criticism section, on claims that the IDB has financed projects related to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. The reference (13) for this is very weak. It is a website called Global Muslim Brotherhood Watch. This website does not have any references for the claims it makes and any links are links to personal websites and blogs. There is no evidence to support the claim that the IDB has supported Hamas or Muslim Brotherhood projects. The authors of this reference have made these unsubstantiated claims in a number of articles that attempt to link the IDB to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. None of these articles have any hard evidence and instead link to other blogs and personal sites that have not been subject to fact checking. These are not primary source citations and can therefore be flagged up as such. The links are known to be unreliable and can clearly be noticed when the link is followed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Creativelement (talkcontribs) 10:11, 6 January 2017 (UTC)

Semi protected edit request for the second paragraph of the criticism section

The second paragraph discusses a grant that the IDB gave to the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR). The paragraph goes on to attack CAIR and says it has ‘strong ties to Hamas’ (reference 15). This claim is put forward multiple times on this Wiki but it is categorically untrue. The following fact checking article by the St. Cloud Times found that such allegations had been refuted time and again. The FBI and Federal Prosecutors have looked into CAIR but found them innocent on every occasion: http://www.sctimes.com/story/news/local/immigration/2015/11/08/fact-check-cair-not-us-terror-watch-list/75160822/. The FBI continues to work with CAIR, further evidence of their innocence. This offers ample scope to refute this indirect link between IDB, CAIR and Hamas.

But the most important point of all; the references provided to substantiate their claims have absolutely nothing to do with the subject at hand - in the two links provided, there is absolutely no mention of CAIR having any links with Hamas - the topic does not even come up in these links at all. This paragraph should be removed at once. I urge editors and administrators to take a glance at these links to see them for what they are — Preceding unsigned comment added by Creativelement (talkcontribs) 10:17, 6 January 2017 (UTC)

The criticism section contains a paragraph stating the IDB funded a rehabilitation and vocational training centre project launched by ARRAID, a Muslim Brotherhood organisation in Ukraine - also known as the Ukraine Association for Social Organisations.

The reference to this claim is link to an article providing commentary about a report made on the ARRAID website. However, the link to the original ARRAID report used in that article is missing (it simply links to a page which says 'Page not found'). In the absence of the primary-source report being referenced, the criticisms made in this section are unsubstantiated and poorly referenced.

This removes any credibility behind this citation, makes the ‘report’ unreliable and fails to supports the claim that appeared on the Wiki.

Furthermore, none of the rest of the reports and quotes on the website mention the Muslim Brotherhood and neither do they offer any evidence that ARRAID is linked to the Muslim Brotherhood. The other reference used in this section does not work - it also links to an error page.

As such, there are strong grounds to edit out this section of the criticism section. --Creativelement (talk) 15:13, 5 March 2017 (UTC)

Semi protected edit request for poorly cited claims within criticism section

The paragraph within the criticism section claiming that the IDB has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas according to a 1991 report by the U.S. Library of Congress on Sudan is very poorly cited and effectively makes completely unsubstantiated claims.

The linked references have no evidence. They are all online articles and blogs that have received no fact checking or scrutiny and therefore they are not evidence of anything. The alleged 1991 report by the U.S. Library of Congress on Sudan which is the source of the criticisms in this section are not actually sourced - the cited link leads to a blog page which similarly mentions the report but also fails to provide any actual citation. Claims made on an unsourced, uncited blog post do not constitute evidence. As such, In the absence of the primary report being referenced there is very little basis for this section of the criticisms remaining on the wiki page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Creativelement (talkcontribs) 19:18, 27 March 2017 (UTC)

Reverting changes that were made without providing justification

I am reverting the changes I originally inserted because they were undone by Jppcap. I have shown that all my edits are justified on the principle of verifiability and ensuring the sources are credible - no specific objections to my explanations based on this principle were provided. The contributor also failed to initiate a discussion to support the placement of the tag. As per point 6. of Wikipedia's guidelines on maintenance templates, as the tagging editor failed to initiate a discussion, I am simply removing this template as it is false and poorly sourced as per my initial arguments listed in the talk page.Creativelement (talk) 19:08, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
