the islamic population in ghana is nowhere near 46% the actual figure is estimated around 20%

Your source is a Christian propaganda site and not an objective reference. But the main problem is that not even the figures of the Ghanaian National Censuses are reliable, nor are they convincing if you know the North of your country and the populous areas in the South well. An additional problem is that mosques or related Islamic institutions (except for the Muslim Brotherhood) do not organize and count their followers.
