Other names... Sulfuric Acid? edit
Can people really call Iron(III)sulfate sulfuric acid and be right? I have a feeling this is wrong. JosephSzymborski (talk) 20:46, 6 December 2013 (UTC)
Gram formula mass? edit
Just wondering if there's a reference for that molar mass. I was just working it out by hand and got a slightly larger answer - by about 5 g/mol. Chances are its due to a loss of significant figures on my part, but I'm just curious. Codharris (talk) 18:53, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
Uses of Iron(III) Sulfate edit
I've also read literature that indicates the use of Iron(III) Sulfate as providing the unique taste of pineapple? Should this be included in the article? Codharris (talk) 18:55, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
The Moss Out! brand of moss killer uses this chemical(ferric sulfate) to kill moss as a lawn treatment. The ferrous sulfate article mentions that as a use too but his article doesn't. I noticed that ferrous sulfate is used in a dry fertilizer mix (Vigoro) I have while the Moss Out! is a solution of iron(III) sulfate. 75.170.50.130 (talk) 00:40, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
