Why is it Interstate 270 Eastbound from U.S. 33/OH-161 East, not Interstate 270 Southbound edit

Why is that ramp to Interstate 270 East, why not Interstate 270 South from U.S. 33/OH-161, so one way is Interstate 270 South, the other why is Interstate 270 East why not North. On 2 exits say East, they are U.S. 33/OH-161 East and Interstate 270 East, why? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:A000:1103:C3:754B:6E3F:D164:27B7 (talk) 21:26, 6 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

I assume you're talking about this: [1]. I-270 is a beltway that goes all the way around Columbus, so one direction the whole way around the route wouldn't be correct. The US 33/SR 161 interchange is a point where the Interstate "turns" so it's a logical point for the directions to change. –Fredddie 21:45, 6 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Route descripton edit

The route description section is still empty. I'm kind of busy right now and lack sufficient time to write it myself. If anyone could write it, that would be great. Thanks all. Needforspeed888 (talk) 19:34, 21 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

"commonly known locally as ... the Jack Nicklaus Freeway." edit

The full text of that line is, "commonly known locally as The Outerbelt, or the Jack Nicklaus Freeway."

But if nobody actually calls it that ("the Jack Nicklaus Freeway"), barring newscasters/news commercials?, should that wording be changed to reflect that? I honestly doubt anyone actually calls it that in their common everyday lives. I've only heard it from what my mind is telling me are news commercials. I've known from some random thing I've seen say a bunch of times "the Jack Nicklaus Freeway" but I had absolutely no idea that it was 270. I mean people do call it The Outbelt, I've heard that from people outside of the news. I don't feel like the current wording reflects reality and propose it might need changed to reflect reality.
