English name? edit

i see there have been some moves back and forth between the Spanish and English versions of the name. Please check out WP:NAME - my understanding is that this should probably go by the English name according to the guidelines, and the Spanish should be a redirect, unless the institute is most widely known (internationally) under its Spanish name (which may well be possible, since Spanish is a major international language). The guideline does not say "English international", it just says "international", at least last time i read it. Boud (talk) 23:44, 12 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

The institute would indeed be quite commonly known internationally, and in english-language sources, by its spanish name. Not always of course, but particularly in the kinds of relevant field literatures and publications where most mentions of the institute would appear. In actuality the most common way of referring to it, in english or spanish, would simply be by the acronym, IHAH. Which would be another reason to prefer the spanish name, since it aligns with the acronym.--cjllw ʘ TALK 06:44, 13 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

situation under Micheletti edit

Some rather strange events occurred to the IHAH during the Micheletti period - this is rather important to add to the article. http://hondurascoup2009.blogspot.com/ should help to find useful sources. Boud (talk) 23:44, 12 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
