This article says "Imipenem is a strong inhibitor of beta-lactamases from some gram-negative bacteria that are resistant to most beta-lactam antibiotics", however, the article about Cefoxitin (which redirectecs here) says "Cefoxitin is considered a strong beta-lactamase inducer, as are certain other antibiotics (such as imipenem)".
