Why image (mathematics) is here

This disambiguation comes from an original redirect to codomain that was meant to go to image (mathematics). I considered just redirecting, because the "space" part can be analyzed as appearing solely to show or remind that the image is a space, a perspective cue. However, it can also be analyzed as an alternated synonym for image (mathematics) which would make it an independent unit. Evidently it has been analyzed this way, as a single phrase, and under such analysis that would be as common a sense of the term as the sense of the optical space. ᛭ LokiClock (talk) 23:32, 2 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
