Ijtihadi family or 'Khandan e Ijtehad' aka 'Nasirabadi family' is an important politico-scholar family from Lucknow/Awadh region of today's Uttar Pradesh, India. It's members have played important role since ~250years starting from Oudh Nawab era continuing to post-Independence era during modern times. Earliest notable member Dildar Ali Naseerabadi (1752-1820), the original chief mujtahīd of Nawābi Awadh and current member Kalbe Jawad (1966-) is an active figure visited by various Indian (& foreign especially Iranian) politicians & government members (there are many others in between).--Fztcs 03:56, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
