alfonso x ies ..its true..its the only school in murcia with early admissions to university of murcia medical school..students in alfonso are accepted into medicina after 1 bach..after 11th grade..they can start classes in the university while still in 2 bach alfonso.but they cant go to other medical schools..this agreement is only for alfonso and university murcia..yes it is special because the math science dept in alfonso is the only one in all murcia with pre admission..other schools like maristas or jesus maria do not have this agreement. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.139.193.163 (talk) 09:02, 4 September 2015 (UTC)

the best school in murcia edit
best is a relative term .we need an external quality control... a national exam or a state test.. In murcia all the schools private public concertado take the same exact test every 6 months. all children must take the PSAT ... all subjects like maths history geography science etc.. alfonso x el sabio ies was number one in 2013 and 2014 ..again in 2016 and 2018.. it beat the maristas limonar and others by a bit. It is public so nobody likes to discuss it..Its webpage is ugly and its parent association is a mess. But the truth is tthat ies alfonso x in murcia is best for kids who want to study medicine in murcia or madrid. For scholarships to london or american harvard mit or cambridge universities.. A big dirty secret in murcia that the powers that be try to keep secret or even eliminate with cuts and transfers.. but so far the exam talks loudly.. wait until may 2019 to see again which school is best ..for english alfonso is tied to the private english only schools as there few have C2 proficiency.. almost all there have c1..
