Talk:I'm a Man (Bo Diddley song)

Latest comment: 4 years ago by Kevintimba in topic Meaning of lyrics

I noticed the article saying the song is based on Muddy Water's She Movies Me, but knowing my Muddy Waters, well a bit at least, I can safely say they don't sound much alike at all. However, there's a Muddy Waters song titled I'm Your Hoochie Coochie Man that at least has a pretty similar main riff and concerns being a man. I wonder if this is what whoever added that specific piece of information was actually thinking about? Then again, I might be mistaken so I have chosen not to edit the page and just put this here for now. // Hargiwald —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hargiwald (talkcontribs) 00:18, 30 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

I (and the rest of the internet) am intrigued by the line: "Now when I was a little boy, at the age of 5, I had somethin' in my pocket, keep a lot of folks alive". It would be great to find out and add it to this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kevintimba (talkcontribs) 21:40, 28 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
