- adding some news reports might help. Benjiboi 21:59, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
- Agreed, but since I'm not gay and honestly don't pay attention enough to the subject, I was hoping someone that would be more dilligent about it would take the lead while I would update when I would come up with relevant information.--Hourick 22:48, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
- I think it's a relevant article but not likely to get a huge excitement level going. Most of the pride parade articles are pretty small but I think as is - is fine for now. Will keep a watch though. Benjiboi 23:47, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
History of the Pride Parade in Houston
editI am involved in an effort to write a history of the Pride Parade in Houston. I can firstly help by providing the names of honorary grand marshals and such from the Pride Guides for each year. Each Guide also has a brief biography of each Grand Marshal which I am willing to type up. Some are better than others. I am very new to wikipedia and am going to study up on things. I don't trust myself to edit anything. One thing I noticed is that the link on Marvin Davis (1991 Grand Marshal) leads to an article about someone who is not the same man. - Greetings. If the link is to the wrong person then edit the brackets off. For the bios they are more appropriate to articles about those people so might not help this article. If in your research you do come across news articles or good references about parade size, economic impact, how many people attended, was it televised, etc then please add those. Also any significant changes in the how the parade was managed or perceived by the LGBT or general public is also useful. Benjiboi 00:35, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
