Emily - Great job on getting this up, and started, and with managing Wikipedia. I think the sections you've picked out make sense and your points won't get buried in the 1812 drama. Now that you've figured out the basics, you need to find some more really solid resources. You can take a few things from the Battle of Sackett's Harbor site, but see if you can find some good local histories and some bigger picture references.
Think about maps and images, and finally, where you think the story should end. Doesn't have to be the present, but you should decided on what other stories are important to tell and that you'll have sources to hold them up . . .
