Receptor translocation edit
I do realize this page is pretty new but I have one question. Is receptor translocation, as in being endocytosed, also considered a form homologous desensitization? I would possibly like to add a section about it if so.Swalk22 (talk) 02:22, 12 October 2017 (UTC)

- I've copyedited it very extensively. By looking through the edit history, you can see what I changed, some of which has to do with Wikipedia style. Where I have tagged some things for clarification, you can see what the issue is by hovering your cursor over the tag. --Tryptofish (talk) 21:13, 30 November 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for help! All of the edits make sense and I can see how they fit the style better. I wanted to ask your opinion on the clarifications. I split up degradation and downregulation because they are two different things. For the second clarification I'm not sure exactly how to say it, or if it is necessary. In reference 11 they found that hypertonic sucrose inhibited 5-HT receptor desensitization in cell culture, but not their transgenic model, so I was trying to highlight potential differences like this. I suppose it could be an artifact of the transgenic model so I might just remove that sentence.Swalk22 (talk) 00:07, 3 December 2017 (UTC)

So my class requires an uploaded image for the page. I thought that an image representing the different pathways would add a nice element for people to follow as they read, so I tried to make one myself.
