Potential source

edit

This report, while not entirely NPOV, seems to be a well researched examination of homeschooling in Germany and might make a good source for expansion of this article. —Angr 15:30, 3 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

There is no recognized Christian church in Germany that prohibits its members to sending their children to school. People who commit crimes in pursuit of their own extreme interpretation of christianity are not "devout" but fundamentalist. I changed the article accordingly Wefa (talk) 18:18, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Very poorly sourced

edit

First source is the Home School Foundation Legal Defense Association, which routinely fear mongers state intrusions into home schooling. Second source is impossible to find paragraph about the case mentioned except by control-f for the case number. Third source is a 3 paragraph story without any background.

The article could certainly be better sourced, but what's wrong with searching the second source for the case number? It's easy enough to do. And sources #3 and #4 are news coverage relating to one specific event only. They don't need to provide extensive background. What would be good would be references to some kind of high-quality overview document. -- Radagast3 (talk) 07:07, 5 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Found one: Spiegler (which is probably the document suggested by Angr). -- Radagast3 (talk) 08:00, 5 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
