this is a biased assessment of the turkish peace action in 1974. surely the ethnic clensing started in 1960 with the greek murders of the turkish minority and denial of political rights in contravention of the cyprus constitution. The 1974 'invasion' was merely the turkish government fulfilling it duty under the tripartite agreement that set up the cypriot state in 1960.
