Merge into Histoplasma? edit

  • Since the genus Histoplasma contains a single species - Histoplasma capsulatum - I propose that the species article be merged and redirect to the genus entry to avoid mass article duplication. -- MarcoTolo 03:09, 2 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, except Histoplasma capsulatum, the organism, is not the same as Histoplasmosis, the disease -- user tcivco01
