What does "often associated with" mean? Who associates Zen Buddhism with an aesthetic comparable to a stack of index cards. I would say that the urge to organize one's life is somewhat antithetical to Zen Philosophy. Perhaps there is a body of literature I'm missing on the aesthetics of Zen Buddhism, that I couldn't find on the Zen page (or in my other Zen readings over time). If there is, you can put it back in, but I'm going to take out this phrase because I think it is just one person's opinion (i.e. original research).

First, the Wikipedia is not paper, and "Hard disks are cheap." (Jimbo)

Second, a growing number of people are using these, and they represent a strong dissatisfaction with current PDAs. I've used two Palm handhelds, and my current one cost a couple hundred dollars, but it's so frustrating that I've been thinking about going back to paper for a while. Now, having heard about the hPDA and DIY Planner communities, I've just started making mine, as there's lots of advice available for doing so.

My point is, it's notable that people (including IT professionals) are switching to such a low-tech solution after spending hundreds on electronics to perform the same tasks. Jobarts^-Talk 08:21, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

I don't understand why people are so quick to recommend deletion. Is it because it's of no interest to them? If so, then I'd like to recommend most of Wikipedia for speedy deletion. April's Fool?

Yeah this is a nice joke and although you can regard a piece of paper as an organizer - somehow this does not fit the wiki category "Personal Digital Assistant". Maybe someone here really got the oppinion of calling a blank piece of paper his assistant, maybe even his best friend,, that's okay. But i don't see what's "digital" here. Article Tone and Poor Use of Templates

I have no problem with calling this device a PDA. In fact, since that is the context most commonly relevant, I believe it is proper. However, the use of the Phone/PDA template for its info is a very very very bad decision. Is this someone's idea of a joke? This is a site I own with content (under Creative Commons Non-Commercial Sharealike license) I've created; however, it is an example of how the hipster PDA has been adapted by special user communities (in this case NaNoWriMo folks).
