Accuracy
editWhy isn't the origin of Hip Hop Music discussed at all?
Adeleilori (talk) 17:10, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
I've got a problem with the following: Despite the name, there is no hip-hop or rap style to these rhymes or their backing music at all; they are simple learning poems, without any hint of the strong meter or impact of rap/hiphop.
...
[He] speaks to the children in extremely gentle and carefully phrased (as with Barney, some say condescending) way, except with simple rhymes.
A quick visit to the official website seems to contradict that. Is there something I'm not understanding? --Donbert 03:21, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
Stupid Scott
editThis could use some cleaning up as well. In the show, I believe the character is referred to simply as Scott. It should be made clear that the nickname "Stupid Scott" is an invention of Joel McHale, host of The Soup.
Grammar
editThe grammar on this page is atrocious. I know NOTHING of the show and arrived here Wikisurfing, so I could edit all of it, but I edited what I could. For instance, I wasn't sure what this part was supposed to mean: The show is also known for the saying "When I Say Hip-Hop You Say Harry" "Hip-hop" "Harry". Is the Fantasy or Reality section really needed?
editI'm not understanding the point of having this section. Wouldn't it have to be Fantasy because you do not see giant, standing upright, talking bears. It's just like Barney, you don't see dinosaurs talking. And Veronica's name being spelled with two a's is kind of silly and those could just be spelling errors. It is true that the kids' lives play an important role in the show, but I don't think it's necessary to really have this section. --Mokoniki (talk) 12:44, 29 May 2009 (UTC)Mokoniki

Hip Hop Harry ended in 2008?
editOne of the categories says that Hip Hop Harry ended in 2008. Is this true? I'm not finding any source for that anywhere I'll remove it until someone can prove that it ended in 2008.
