Suggested Improvements and Tentative Workplan edit
The organization of this article could be improved; some sections consist of only a couple sentences and could be expanded upon and do not contain citations. It also uses gendered language.
We will reorganize the article into different major sections for different types of risk factors. We will also break down the Conditions of Pregnancy section into different subheadings. We intent to add more details in each of the subsections about risk factors, their mechanisms, and evidence-based statements with citations to credible sources. We will also create an Infobox.
Add sections on: Interventions, prognosis, images. We will remove gendered language (ex. maternal carrier --> gestational carrier); any information that is erroneous or not cited in the literature; redundant information between sections. We will augment the current text in the article by using easily understandable language that does not compromise the scientific facts; add hyperlinks to other websites and well-edited wikipedia pages. We will decrease coverage of any specific medical advice.
Here is our intended new structure and different section titles:
Introduction
Risk factors:
- Intro to risk factors
- Gestational parent risk factors
- Fetal related risk factors
- Pregnancy related risk factors

- Epi

Add more citations edit
Consider adding more citations throughout, even if this involves citing the same sources several times throughout the article. Factprotector (talk) 18:32, 13 September 2021 (UTC)
Causes of High Risk Pregnancy edit
the new organization is helpful, the first section needs some more citations which I am sure you are already aware. An image or two would be nice jst to add more visual interest although I understand these are difficult to find. You could also utilize links to other wikipedia pages for the more technical terms rather than deep diving into any given one. AdriaBowles (talk) 18:57, 13 September 2021 (UTC)
Introduction/Abstract section edit
Great revisions to the article. I'd recommend adding to the introduction/abstract section, which normally contains a slimmed down version of the whole article. So, adding short blurbs about causes, lifestyle factors, management, etc.
