The real creator of the song “Here I am, I’m Drunk Again”

My grandfather had told me that his father had created this song prior to his birth in ‘68. Approximately 8 years prior to the song’s release. According to him, after his father died shortly after his birth (God rest his soul), the records for the songs were lost, and then “Here I am, I’m Drunk Again” releases to the public for the first time, in ‘76. Also, according to him, while the song was playing, his mother was crying the whole time. It’s now been many, many years since then, and his mother has since died, (God rest her soul) and he can still sing the whole song. I have no idea if this is even true, but there’s a cassette tape from about 1965-1966, with this song on it. It is over 60 years old and doesn’t work in a cassette player, if you can restore it, please tell me. 166.181.86.130 (talk) 21:06, 2 October 2023 (UTC)
