Good work! I made minor edits to wording, grammar and spelling. I also broke up the info in the habitat section, added a geographic range section and a new mating section with information from other sections. My biggest suggestion is to add more info to this section due to the importance of mating to behavior in general. Also if you could explain nevadensis that would be good, as I didn't understand the term when I read it. Mllutz (talk) 03:12, 6 October 2017 (UTC)MllutzReply

Hello! The overview was very good, but did not cover the entirety of the article. There was no mention of the enemies, which had two sections to the article, so I added some information about that. I did many grammatical edits and italicized the species name. Description should go ahead of taxonomy. Because geographic range is so short, either adding more information about that or combining it with the habitat section might be better. I also added some links to other Wikipedia pages, like the plant family spirea. Some of the wording was repetitive from the introduction and the specific sections, like in the parental care section, so I changed that a bit to make it flow better. If there is more information about it, a conservation section could be interesting to add! Overall there was a lot of interesting and important information, especially the enemies section. Hello! This was a fantastic article! Just a few potential edits you may want to consider in the future. The major comments and suggested edits I have are as follows: 1) it may enhance the article by including more pictures in general on this Wiki page such as a map showing the butterfly’s geographical distribution or relevant host plants, 2) the life cycle section and its subsections are well detailed except for the pupa section so that area may potentially be expanded in future edits if the research available permits, 3) the mating section is good but there may be potential to add more information about male/male and male/female interactions and if there are any specific mating rituals tied to this specific butterfly, 4) I made several small edits such as fixing some spelling/grammar, fixing “red” links for pages that did not exist, and one minor spacing issue in which the spacing was too large between sections. This was a really great article, and good luck editing! Krecto176 (talk) 04:34, 1 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Each section was very thorough and balanced. One thing I would have liked you to explain was why copulation lasts 1-2 hours. You mention it multiple times throughout the article but never expound. It stuck out to me, and I am sure it will stick out to other readers. Thus, it would be proactive of you to either explain the mating behavior more or to link to an external site that explains it in detail. Great article though. Cheers.
