Looking really good, especially doing well on the topic of neutrality. I think you should invest some time in topics outside of the major organization, on how the healthcare system is affecting the people within it. Also some pictures (different facilities, organizations, problems etc) would be great. Akweaver32 (talk) 17:57, 15 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi Michelle, I think this article is an important contribution to Wikipedia and am surprised that it was not a topic before. I think you did a great job at finding credible, scholarly sources that are comprehensive. I think your article could most benefit from an expansion in comprehensiveness. The politics, policies, and other aspects of the Nicaraguan healthcare system can be expanded on. For example, what mechanisms allow for the guarantee of universal free healthcare? Also, women’s and children’s health is rather a big section as of now, while more time could spent on the other aspects of the healthcare system. The lead could also be strengthened, and this may happen naturally as you add in more information. I think it could definitely benefit from justification of why this article is useful. Overall, I think you are off to a great start! SBanda (talk) 00:46, 17 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

This is a really good expansion on what you had before. I especially like that you devoted a section to the different levels of healthcare. I think that this always an area of confusion when it comes to the general public. I also think the points you make about disparities in healthcare professionals are great, and especially relevant given their connections to the larger problems in the healthcare system. You are doing well with developing the article. However, more developed articles could be good resources for other pertinent sections to add. (Efficiency, reform, etc...) I think this aspect of comprehensiveness is the most important thing for you to consider moving forward. Other things, like images would be great, but are a bit less urgent. Good job! As Akweaver32 noted, this is a great expansion and revision. You expanded the comprehensiveness of your article by expanding the women's and children's health section and adding information about healthcare professionals. You also explained the structure of the healthcare system in more detail. The article was great in maintaining neutrality and a constant tone and added some diverse references. One area of improvement would be to add conflicting viewpoints or sources of concern to increase the breadth of the article and help readers understand some of the more complex factors barring progress. Another area is including information about involved NGOs and expanding on the diseases faced by the population. These could both improve the comprehensiveness of the article, which I think is the one area that the article could be mostly improved. Great progress and good luck!

Quality and Importance Rating edit

Hi, I noticed that this page was unrated, but actually a really wonderfully developed article. I think that maybe you should consider nominating it for GA status, it really is quite impressive. In the mean time, I've added it to several relevant wiki projects and graded it I think appropriately. All the best, and if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to comment on my talk page. Kmwebber (talk) 21:21, 1 December 2016 (UTC)KmwebberReply

Thanks so much Kmwebber!!! I'll look into nominating it and potentially adding some more content to sections soon. Mtran99 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 10:31, 12 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
