Black and Decker edit

According to Black and Decker's wiki entry, the company was founded in Baltimore, MD and not hampstead:

Black & Decker Corporation was founded in 1910 by S. Duncan Black and Alonzo G. Decker as a small machine shop in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1917, Black & Decker invented the familiar portable electric drill, obtaining a patent for a hand-held drill combining a pistol grip and trigger switch.

Christopher Gist edit

According to the Maryland Historical society the road was originally plotted by Christopher Gist, as is listed on this entry, however the Christopher Gist that is linked to in this entry was not even born when the road was charted:

Either the date in "Hampstead: Its Heart and History" is wrong as it pertains to Christopher Gist, or this is a different Christopher Gist, perhaps the one listed on this site, http://www.shire.net/osl/gist.htm , unfortunately the scholarly value of that source is not known —Preceding unsigned comment added by Crudy1 (talk • contribs) 12:15, 23 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have reverted much of the information in this page back to an earlier time due to most of it being removed and or vandalized. I lost some of the actually useful and acceptable edits during this. I apologize and will try to read back through and put them in. Please cite sources if your are going to edit, or give reasons for removal of accurate information. I am the most recent editor, i was not signed in so it just shows an IP address.
