Is this league defunct? There's no official site, and the latest records at the Football Club History Database and other sites are two or more seasons old. --Stevefarrell 12:07, 7 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

I was just wondering that myself. It looks like when most of its clubs defected to the enlarged Wessex League in 2004 it was effectively restarted with a whole new lineup. Yellow Jersey has a section for the league, which it calls "Hampshire League (2004)", and the results section lists matches for the season just completed. However, it does seem that it's not an official part of the National League System any more — the FA's page on the NLS from 2004-05 onwards doesn't list it at step 7. Some more digging required yet I think. — sjorford++ 12:55, 7 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
This is no longer a league on its own it is the collective name or term for the Hampshire Premier League and the Hampshire League 2004. Cazza3012 (talk) 17:29, 7 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

"Historical position within English football league system" table edit

The Hampshire League (as opposed to the Hampshire Premier League, which is something separate) appears to disappear off the right hand side in 2004, rendering the rest of the table pointless on this page.... -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 14:45, 9 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi there, I am going to create a new page entitld Hampshire League 2004, I will then delete the referenced to the Hampshire League 2004 on this page, any objections??? Also, I think we should shut down this page.--guyb123321 15 May 2010

Just to let you know, this league IS defunct, the teams that were in this league either became members of the wessex league or if they did not meet the ground specifications joined Hampshire League 2004, which was a league they had set up for the purpose of clubs in this league that couldn't be in the wessex league, Also, I was wondering if any body knew the promotion and relegation rules for the Hampshire League 2004 --guyb123321 31 May 2010 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Guyb123321 (talkcontribs) 13:53, 31 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
