Fair use rationale for Image:HallOfFame.jpg edit

Image:HallOfFame.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:07, 5 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Directors/Writers edit

Can't someone just click on the episode list to find out who the writers and directer are for each episode? This list seems unnecessary. Also, why was the image shrunken? Cactusjump (talk) 00:59, 27 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

What about the ratings info? It is not available in any of the episodes that I could find (it should be referenced though). It wouldn't be a good addition? Other TV series have rating information: CSI, 60 minutes, etc... Also why is there a line about expanding the list of episodes, but when one does add to the list, and the page doesn't exist, it is reverted? Wouldn't the addition of the articles in the list potentially foster the creation of those articles? Rej5y7 (talk) 23:22, 28 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Undoing edits edit

Could we please just assume good faith on edits. I know that it is easy to just undo an edit that doesn't comply to your standards but if one would take an extra second to try to figure out what the editor was trying to do and fixing any problems that may have occur, it would be much more constructive. Plus quickly undoing a newcomers edit may keep someone from becoming a future contributor.Rej5y7 (talk) 17:38, 2 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

inasmuch as there are literally hundreds of titles, this list is limited to the 'films' with articles. perhaps, rather than expending energy on reverts, it might be better to start an article on the actual film in question. --emerson7 18:13, 3 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
I understand your point about the list containing only 'films' with articles. However some 'films' in the list do not link to pages that are actual films, such as: Front of the Class, Peter Pan, To Dance with the White Dog etc.... I feel that it is fine to not includes films that don't have dedicated pages, but we shouldn't discriminate, so the others should also be removed. I was just unaware of this precedent of not including non-dedicated pages since several other entries are of this nature.Rej5y7 (talk) 01:31, 4 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Episode list edit

This list doesn't link to ANY articles now. Is there a reason we can't have links to the film articles? Cactusjump (talk) 17:52, 12 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Also, I'm not very good at lists, charts, and the like as far as formatting. Is there a way this list can be cleaned up so that the dates stand out? Cactusjump (talk) 17:55, 12 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
I've linked all the episodes that I remember having articles or sections devoted to them, but the list still needs to be cleaned up somehow. Thanks. Cactusjump (talk) 19:24, 12 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

We just had November Christmas on. It was being announced as the 241st episode. Eclecticology (talk) 07:35, 29 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

The IMDB episode list currently shows 308 episodes. Eclecticology (talk) 09:20, 29 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
The official Hallmark link of episodes (listed under Ext links) also lists it as #241 - http://corporate.hallmark.com/company/Hallmark-Hall-of-Fame-Movie-List - Just watched tonight's episode The Lost Valentine which was announced as # 242 - Petersam (talk) 07:10, 31 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
The Hallmark link lists all productions which includes encores and repeat broadcasts which explains why the Hallmark count is higher than the Wikipedia count. The Wikipedia count is the number of unique productions. Petersam (talk) 07:29, 31 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Front of the Class edit

I noticed when I clicked on the movie, the link takes me to the page of the character this movie is based on. Apparently no one created a page for the movie.

I'd like to but, how do I do that when there's a link already in place? I've tried changing the title so |(film) is in there, hoping it would make a new link but that didn't work. Can anyone help me out? GiantTiger001 (talk) 06:00, 16 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Mildred Freed Alberg edit

According to this book review, of Women Pioneers in Television by Huffman, Mildred Freed Alberg's claim to fame was being the executive producer of HHH. I don't see her mentioned on the page. ProfessorAndro (talk) 17:36, 21 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Dubious edit

In the first paragraph of this article is this phrase: "it began airing in 1951 and is still currently in production." However, the last movie that aired was in 2019, and that movie, "A Christmas Love Story," has been the only movie featured on the home page of the Hallmark Hall of Fame website for several years (https://www.hallmarkchannel.com/hallmark-hall-of-fame). Is there any indication that this series is "still currently in production"? ML7557 (talk) 01:11, 19 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
