Closest approach

edit

At one time this star must have been quite prominent in the night sky. Assuming current luminosity, the brightness at closest approach was:

m = Mv + 5(log10(dpc) − 1) = 0.51 + 5(0.83 − 1) = −0.34

which is brighter than Arcturus is now. Praemonitus (talk) 23:00, 26 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
