Could a grove possibly be described in a simple way as a 'Miniature Forest?' Or would that be innacurate.
No. I've checked a few dictionaries, and I think Merriam-Webster sums it up best: "A wood without underbrush" (thus including a grove of sequioa) or "a planting of fruit or nut trees." The wood without underbrush can encapsulate both and touches on the German senses of the words "Hain" and the archaic "Rode." BohemianRhapsodie (talk) 17:38, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
