Why must it simply be a redirect? This is, I believe, an important album that deserves a wiki page. And this is about to have a widespread reissue on a major label, so why shouldn't it have a page? PikaSka (talk) 16:38, 3 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

@PikaSka, the information you just added needs a citation to a reliable, secondary source. If the article lacks multiple such sources, we typically redirect to the parent topic. Perhaps there are new sources now that it's being reissued? In any event, share what you have? czar 17:59, 3 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

I do have some additional sources from Resident Advisor: https://www.residentadvisor.net/news/44610 and Planet Mu's website: https://planet.mu/releases/greg-hates-car-culture-20th-anniversary-edition/. The Bandcamp page is the official Venetian Snares online store. Would these be good sources? PikaSka (talk) 19:39, 3 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

RA is good and the other two are primary sources (affiliated with the artist/album). Until there are more news stories or reviews, best to take that RA source and cover the album in the parent article. When more coverage comes out, you can merge that content to the album's own article. czar 20:57, 3 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Czar I have some additional resources to provide. Namely, the Discogs page for this album's original release: https://www.discogs.com/Venetian-Snares-Greg-Hates-Car-Culture/release/27021 The album's review on Allmusic: https://www.allmusic.com/album/greg-hates-car-culture-mw0003329609 And a press release from FACT Magazine: https://www.factmag.com/2019/10/16/timesig-venetian-snares-greg-hates-car-culture/ Hopefully these are good. Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources#Discogs is user-generated, so not a reliable, secondary source. AllMusic and Fact are good but both the news articles (Fact, RA) are short announcements, i.e., we wouldn't be able to write a full encyclopedia article on these sources alone. But I expect there to be new reviews by end of week with the album release, yes? Perhaps just wait until then? Or take these sources and cover in the parent article for now? Can always split out at that time. czar 04:00, 5 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
