Population edit

    Where did the population in the first paragraph come from. It was added by an unsigned user in 2011 as 3262. Someone later changed it to 3266. The 2010 census lists the population as 3136. This 3262 and 3266 population does not match anything that I can find.Jdtrue63 (talk) 08:30, 2 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Feel free to correct the unexplained & unsourced population number in the lead. 3136 as of the 2010 census seems like a good number. That gives a general idea of size in the lead with lots of additional details later in the body. Like many others this article has a long history of unsourced additions and changes.
