Hi, the new edit on Cycling at Grapham reads like an advert for the place. Comments? Graham Jones (talk) 12:29, 12 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I agree. I've left the link but trimmed the text --Chris Jefferies (talk) 00:05, 13 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Church under water?

edit

Is this true? There's still a parish church in Grafham, and I can't find any other mention of a church in Perry. Rob (talk) 23:03, 21 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

I think it's a myth. Here's a link to a PDF of an OS map of the area prior to the building of the reservoir, the existing church is marked but that is above the waterline. No other church is marked on the map. I will remove the sentence about a flooded church, it can be restored if anyone can find documentary evidence for it. --Chris Jefferies (talk) 21:43, 20 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
