Article improvement edit

Not sure if an article with a single line, supported by a single citation to an entry in a website, can be qualified even as a "stub". I'll give the benefit of doubt and hope that the article creator will improve it as part of March Madness 2017. Regards, DPdH (talk) 20:04, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

I strongly agree with the previous comment. I rated the article, but still there are no major improvements. Regards, Lord Ics (talk) 16:17, 20 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
I forgot about this article for three years, but I finally got around to expanding it. - ZLEA T\C 17:34, 28 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Sourcing edit

The various sources disagree with each other on certain points. One challenge will be to cover who says what without bogging down the narrative. In general I think that Sharp and Rose are the most reliable with the earlier accounts lacking information uncovered within the last two decades.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 16:57, 29 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Sharp is certainly the most reliable, as he has unearthed and published primary source documents which have been passed over for decades. He has also consolidated/updated his bookazine material on jet fighters into a single volume; Secret Projects of the Luftwaffe: Jet Fighters 1939-45, Tempest, 2020 (there is a companion volume for bombers). If anybody outright contradicts him, wipe them! Is there any point in listing Shepelev and Ottens? The minimal mention of the Ho 229 is adequately covered in the main sources. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 17:50, 29 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
I didn't know about the consolidation volumes, I only have the bookazines. Shepelev and Ottens give some details about the relationship between Göthert and the Horten brothers that may be of use. If not the book will be deleted.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 21:33, 29 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
Dammit, I totally forgot that I'd bought it last year and didn't think to check my bookshelves for it. I blame... something!--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 21:51, 29 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
