Google Currents (2011–13) vs. Google Currents edit

Google Currents (2011–13) was a completely different app than the present-day Google Currents. They simply share a name. The concepts need to be split, with the information about the defunct app organized in an article titled Google Currents (2011–13) and the information about the present-day app organized in this article, with the Google Currents title. Page History edit

Please look at the original page history of this page. [1] This page was originally created in 2011 for the magazine app. So now we cannot have the 2011 history of the magazine app to be in the page about the completely unrelated communication tool. That is undesirable because it mixes up page history. Let me ping my friend Paine Ellsworth for this issue. Neel.arunabh (talk) 16:40, 20 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

I see, it appears that the page was switched to cover the other app at some point in (recent) history, as far back as 2019. Wow, I had no idea the page history was so messy... InfiniteNexus (talk) 17:09, 20 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
