Notability

edit

Here is why I believe this article meets Wikipedia:Notability (music) (WP:BAND) guidelines:

  • Has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent of the musician or ensemble itself (#1). Here's a few examples from A.V. Club and from Sputnik Music, two sources which are reliable, independent, and not self-published.
  • Has released two or more albums on a major record label or on one of the more important indie labels (i.e., an independent label with a history of more than a few years, and with a roster of performers, many of whom are independently notable)(#5). Good Luck has released two studio albums with No Idea Records, a well-known independent label which includes a number other notable performers (Leatherface (band), Against Me!, Defiance, Ohio (band), etc).

Additionally, they have conducted multiple national (US) tours, and at least one international tour (in the UK), as per criterion #4 (Has received non-trivial coverage in independent reliable sources of an international concert tour, or a national concert tour in at least one sovereign country), but I've had trouble finding reliable sources on that that don't just mention it in passing or give tour dates (for example, this update from AltPress).

A group or band only has to meet one of these requirements to be considered notable, and I believe they meet at least two.
