Going Through the Motions → Going through the motions — Makes sense to call it by the proper form which appears in the dictionary and is the primary use of the phrase. "Going Through the Motions" can redirect here anyway. Penbat (talk) 16:00, 12 October 2010 (UTC)

- Yes but the idea is to have text on the page describing its primary meaning and maybe have links to "Going through the motions" from other references to the phrase in other Wikipedia articles.--Penbat (talk) 19:00, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
- I think that would be fine, but you don't need to move this dab page to do that. Just overwrite the current redirect going through the motions with whatever you want (watch out for WP:DICTDEF), and put a hatnote on it pointing to this page. Station1 (talk) 19:10, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
