Copying?

Either you guys have been copying someone, or someone has been copying you: http://encyclopedia.thefreedictionary.com/Gare%20Montparnasse —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 160.39.193.96 (talkcontribs) .

Scroll down on that page and you'll see the note where they say the page is "copied from an article on Wikipedia.org"; and yes, they provide a direct link to the article too. Slambo (Speak) 14:23, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

Mentioned in Hugo

This station was the setting for the movie Hugo. The derailment of 1895 is even featured in the movie. I feel this should be added. I just wanted to let someone know. madeincat user talk:madeincat 27 April 2012 —Preceding undated comment added 00:16, 28 April 2012 (UTC).

Fines for derailment?

In this article, it's mentioned that "A conductor was given a 25-franc fine and the engine driver a 50-franc fine." In the Montparnasse derailment page, it says "The driver was fined 50 francs and one of the guards 25 francs." Anyone know more info about this?ataricom (talk) 18:45, 18 February 2013 (UTC)

I've moved several "in popular culture"-type references to the derailment from this page to talk:Montparnasse derailment to see which ones should be included in that article. Given the existence of the separate article they are completely irrelevant to the general article about the station. Thryduulf (talk) 14:49, 13 July 2013 (UTC)
