Wow, alot of the synopses for the novels sound like advertising copy.
They were taken from the back of the books. If anyone wants to start replacing the verbiage with ones of their own feel free. It however adequately describes the stories. FrankWilliams 00:10, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
Since the last dry period for the Med basin came before Homo Sapiens, the characters in the books are not humans. My memory is that they were a very humanoid species evolved from plains cats, and that if the hero from our time concentrated very hard, he could see them that way, but otherwise his perceptions just naturally rendered them as human.
