The result of the proposal was move the page to Gamma Ethniki, per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 09:14, 17 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Third Division (Greece)Gamma Ethniki — The current title is ambiguous, as it could refer to the Third Division of any sports league in Greece. The article was moved from the suggested title with no explanation in June 2007. —– PeeJay 12:11, 31 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • I agree the proposed title is less ambiguous, but some evidence of what is actually used in English-language texts would be nice (and really is sort of obligatory given WP:UE. Knepflerle (talk) 13:03, 31 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose until evidence is provided. I know that Gamma in this context is an ordinal, but most of our readers won't. As for disambiguation: if anybody wants to change the dab to (Greek football) go right ahead, but I see no need to do so until we have two Third Divisions about Greece. • FootballTransfers.info seems to use Beta Ethniki and Gamma Ethniki as the names for the divisions, and I found that site simply by typing "Gamma Ethniki" into Google. To be honest, I wouldn't know what else to search for, as "Third Division" is much too ambiguous. – PeeJay 23:35, 31 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
