Talk:Full mouth disinfection

I have a swelling in my back left gum (a bit outward, and seems swollen in the other direction) under a tooth that seems to be portruding a bit towards the inside of my mouth, not by much, but clearly noticeable. It doesn't look to bad but it is painful. It comes and goes, usually a few days with pain and a few days without. I'm thinking about poking it with a clean sewing needle so as to drain it, but perhaps that's not the best idea. I hate dentists.. correction, I hate going to the dentist. I don't want to have my tooth extracted. I've never had a cavity and do not have tooth decay. Is there any way I can deal with this myself? What would be the proper way to drain the puss? I feel that a dental worker will say that I need an extraction, but the pain is on and off. Some days I'm chewing just fine. Let me know if you have a solution. Thank you.
