Moving unsourced statement from July 2007 here:

Freeway Airport was the last airport in the United States opened after the events of September 11, 2001 due to its proximity to the Washington DC placing it inside the Temporary Flight Restriction zone established by the FAA.^{[citation needed]}

Ultra-light at Freeway?

I find the statement that an ultra-light is based at Freeway quite dubious, due to the requirements of the DC Special flight rules area. Any idea where that statement originated? — Jkudlick ^tc_s 17:54, 24 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
