Icelandic Free State edit
The Icelandic commonwealth is sometimes called the Icelandic Free State. Both names, of course, are formed later. The laws of the (not-really-a-)state just referred to it as Vár lög, i.e. "Our laws". Haukur (talk) 21:34, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
