I just indid this parcial edit (here and at Portuguese Wikipedia). Here we have "iconic" to describe Lula and, by the other hand, "far-right" to describe Bolsonaro; by this edit the article was in favor of Lula and against Bolsonaro. —Pórokhov ^Порох 03:05, 29 November 2018 (UTC)

Okay, @Pórokhov:, let me respond to your objection by steps. First, the objection that a parcial edit is shown due to the use of word "iconic" associated to Mr. DaSilva is the erroneous. This is because the information comes from a reliable source. In order to maintain a neutral point of view and present what the various sources say. I can not find any source discreditng the statement. You must find sources that discrete or negate Bloomberg, "Prison Awaits Brazil’s Iconic Ex-President Lula"; Radioagência Notícias do Planalto, "Lula consolidates his iconic political legacy"; aljazeera, "The former Brazilian president's iconic beard, having survived the formalities of presidency"; AFP, "the jailed former head of state and his own party's iconic leader Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva"; etc.

Second, the "iconic" objection is nonsensical. Look, this accusation that "iconic politician" is partial, is the same as to object to the "ex-president" qualification. Both, that Lula is an "iconic politician" and an that he is an "ex-president", are facts supported by reliable sources. Moreover, the fact that he is an "iconic socialist" do not place a positive or negative spin in the article. Lula, Hitler, Genghis Khan and Mandela were "iconic leaders"! But look at this, for exemple, about Lula. A source indicated that "Haddad will have to distance himself from the iconic Lula. Why? Why that if Lula being iconic is a good thing? Do you see, here, the news article judge that "iconic Lula" does not help Mr. Haddad. It is just an opinion, not a fact. The point is that if Lula or his followers like the left, being an "iconic socialist", is good, but if Lula does not like it, "iconic socialist" is a parcial edit.., in their opinion. Be as it may, Lula's or the reader's objections based upon their opinions are irrelevant, because the qualification "iconic socialist" is correct for Lula. Hitler was an iconic Nazi leader. If you are a Nazi and like Hitler, you will love this fact, but if you want to hide the reality, you will claim that Hitler was a communist or some other animal. Perhaps you would tell us that "iconic Nazi Leader" is a parcial edit. See, the badness or goodness of the word is in the eyes of the reader. Find sources that show that "iconic socialist" should not be associated with Lula, and then, remove "wrong information" from the article.

The use of "iconic" in the article is just a descriptive and expository writing style. However, in reality, the word "iconic" leaves out the editor own opinion about that topic or Lula's qualities. Did you understand the explanation? Dr. Loo^{Talk to me} 19:27, 3 December 2018 (UTC)

About the Bolsonaro "far-right" issue, we can not find any source that disagree with the statement. I cannot find him negating or denying the fact in any source; instead, what can we find, is him that his far-right" sexist, racist and hatred statements to minorities is that, in his words, they must "bow to the majority" or be "crushed.". This view is a clear far-right view. He also told Playboy magazine that he would not be able to love a homosexual son: "I'd rather have a son of mine die in an accident than show up "dating" someone with a mustache". His Wikipedia article said that he "have been described as far-right and conservative in nature". You should go to that article first, and change the erroneous information. The article further says that his political views "...have been described as nationalist and right-wing populism in nature, and as an advocate of far-right policies.". There are hundreds of publications quoting him advocating for far-right ideas. Sorry, but his far-right view is an actuality. You could try to ask him to stop his support far-right ideas, and I bet that the sources would stop writing about his far-right views. Sorry, the Wikipedia does not remove truths simply because some politician's admirers do not like to read truthful facts backed by reliable sources. Please, go find sources that show that "far-right" should not be associated to Bolsonaro's name, and then, remove "wrong information" from the article.
