Concerns about commercial influence
editSeems a bit like a commercial presentation.--SpectrumAnalyser 01:43, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
Given the fact that the pictures are granted by Radi Medical Systems AB (a company producing equipment to measure FFR), this topic is not likely to be free of commercial bias. Some assumptions are written as facts. Because part of text is displayed in JPEG's, editing is difficult if not impossible. It is important to note that the scientific community has not reached consensus yet about underlying theories regarding intracoronary diagnostic measurements. It would be interesting though to have a topic about intracoronary derived diagnostic parameters like FFR, CFR, RCFR, HSR, HMR and others. However, a topic about coronary hemodynamics should be written first in order to understand the need for such intracoronary diagnostics. After all, the general public might think that these measurements are always necessary while there are established techniques like exercise electrocardiography, stress-echocardiography, myocardial perfusion scintigraphy that are less invasive than intracoronary measurements. - I've rewritten the article trying to address these concerns; more feedback is certainly welcome. --Steven Fruitsmaak (Reply) 15:55, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
