The Central Branch after the Tornado of 2000 -- children's section rebuilding?edit

I'm curious, when did the central branch finish rebuilding after the 2000 tornado? I used to enjoy going to the kid's section, where I read hundreds of books and played games on the computers. I was devastated when the tornado ripped through downtown and destroyed the children's section of the library. (I heard they had to destroy all the books in the children's section, either due to rain damage, debris, or the fear that little glass shards would be embedded in the books.)
I'm curious if and when the children's section was rebuilt. I don't recall when my last visit was, but I do remember that the children's section was still out of commission at the time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.218.244.217 (talk) 18:01, 20 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
