Not sure what the previous guy had been reading, but it didn't bear much resemblance to the book I read. Duly corrected grammatical errors and rewrote the brief synopsis. If any Dale Brown fans care to expand further... Andyana 21:31, 3 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

I agree. This is NOT Flight of the Old Dog. I hope to correct this entry asap. Pepto gecko 17:24, 7 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Video Game edit

Anyone want to help me start a section on the video game based on the book? I happen to own a copy of it as well as the original manual. The video game contains the plot of the book as a special mission, features red flag training exercises and a fictional reenactment of B-52 missions during the 1st Gulf War. Interestingly, the game is surprisingly in-depth in how much it demands of the player to conduct electronic warfare, stealth, flight planning and so on. Way ahead of its time. Anyways, does anyone else think the video game is worth mentioning in this article? Or should we start a new one? I am fairly new to Wikipedia so I need some help. Thanks. --LuciusPius (talk) 05:30, 28 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I know that PC game, but have not played it. It's ok to put it in a different section here, but do not delve too much on the details as to prevent running foul of WP:GAMEGUIDE. Please read WP rules on how to write your first article and talk to the people at wikiproject videogames. Thanks. --Eaglestorm (talk) 13:46, 28 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
I created the subsection in this article with just one sentence mentioning the video game. I then created the main article on Megafortress with just 2 paragraphs discussing the gameplay in much the same way as I created the article on the game 1869 which seems to have been successful. I look forward to other Wikipedians improving the work I did such as by adding pictures perhaps. --LuciusPius (talk) 22:53, 30 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
