[Q]For most of its existence before amalgamation with Hamilton in 2001, Flamborough was in fact a trio of sparsely settled townships. The largest suburban community is the former Town of Waterdown containing perhaps one third of its thirty thousand or so inhabitants. Other Flamborough communities, in approximate order of population, include: Greensville, Carlisle, Freelton, Rockton, Lynden, Clappison's Corners, Millgrove, Christie's Corners, Sheffield, Copetown, Kirkwall, Valens, Mountsberg and Westover.[/Q]

I don't understand what the trio of towns are... if one is Waterdown, what are the other two? cheater 16:15, 17 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

They are West Flamborough and East Flamborough (before there was a "Flamborough"). Milt 22:23, 17 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

2006 census

edit

Flamborough's population isn't independently reported by the Canadian Census anymore...2006 census figure is calculated by summing all of Flamborough's component census tracts. Marathone 09:25, 15 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
