I am proposing to merge First Bristol and First Somerset & Avon into an article called First West of England. Yes they are legally separate but many services interlink with each other and operationally is ran as one entity under First West of England branding.

I wouldn't be surprised if people disagreed but it is just an idea. Mark999 (talk) 00:54, 3 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Disagree While FirstGroup's website does have First Bristol and First Somerset & Avon grouped together as First in Bristol, Bath & the West [1], they are separate legal entities and as far as I am aware, operate out of separate depots. As I understand, Bristol handles services within the city confines and Somerset & Avon outside, albeit with some crossover. In June 2013 First restructured Bristol & Avon form one region and Devon, Cornwall & Somerset another, so would make it more confusing if the articles were merged.[2] Mo7838 (talk) 11:30, 12 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
First Somerset & Avon also operated out of Hengrove and Lawrence Hill depots which are also used by First Bristol, Both companies are registered to the same building in Easton. Also apparently there have been buses in Taunton spotted carrying the new First West of England Livery as carried across Bristol, Bath, Weston ect. Mark999 (talk) 13:07, 25 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
As there have been no further comments for over a month, can the merge banner be removed?— Rod talk 22:26, 28 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
