Status
editThe function of the infobox is to provide a brief overview of the character. Thus, the "status" parameter in the infobox is not meant to be detailed. Also, the allowance of only "Active/Unknown/Deceased" is to keep all the fictional character infoboxes in Wikipedia consistent.
